Layered strawberry dessert

A light and fresh dessert that looks and tastes like summer.

Ingredients

  • 500g strawberries
  • 100g vegan biscuit e.g. oat cookies, crumbled in pieces
  • About 2dl orange juice
  • 360g New Roots La Fraîche
  • 90g powdered sugar
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • Fresh mint for garnish

Instructions

  • Wash the strawberries and cut into medium-sized cubes – set aside.
  • Divide the crumbled vegan biscuit into 4 200ml glasses, pour orange juice over them
  • and set aside.
    In a bowl, mix New Roots La Fraîche with the powdered sugar, and add the fresh lemon zest.
  • Alternate the cream mixture and the sliced strawberries on the biscuit layer until the jar is full. Garnish with fresh mint at the end and place in the fridge for about 2-4 hours.
